Gloria Copeland, who with her husband, Kenneth, runs a religious empire based largely on fleecing the poor and uneducated, posted a video last week that argued “We got a duck season, a deer season, but we don’t have a flu season” and that faith can protect you from it, if you “inoculate yourself with the word of God”.
This is not only irresponsible, it is dangerously stupid. Apparently, it’s not enough to use religion to rob the uneducated masses. It’s worth repeating that all preachers, crooks, pastors, priests, thieves, evangelists are hooked on a tax free lavish lifestyle and know very well about the designer suits, the man-dresses, the expensive watches and jewelry, the flashy cars, the big mansions and churches, the phony duck walk and swag, the stupid cadence in delivering their sermons, illegal drugs, shopping sprees for the mistresses and the service of hookers.
If anyone needed one more sign of the delusion of religion, this is it. Hopefully the believers will understand once and for all that faith is the glorification of voluntary ignorance.
