Congress and Facebook

Senate panel sets April 10 for Facebook CEO to testify. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, on Monday 03/26/2018, called for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to testify before Congress about Cambridge Analytica’s alleged misuse of Facebook data from up to 50 million user profiles, and the possibility that that data may not have been not destroyed in 2015, as the data firm certified to the social media company.
Equifax testified when they had a data breech. Nothing was done. Yahoo testified when they had a data breech. Nothing was done. Target testified when they had a data breech. Nothing was done. You think something is going to be done if Facebook testifies?
You can’t take down Facebook, just like you can’t ban cigarettes. Too many idiots depend on both. Mark Suckerberg will lie, Congress will get bribes and the whole thing will be settled. The US Congress, where money washes all illegal acts. End of story.
