Atheist nonsense

I just received another love note from Alison Gill, Vice President, Legal and Policy American Atheists. I can not explain why I get so excited to receive an email from her, even when I am not an atheist, but anyway, here it is:

[Dear Phil, We’re running out of time to stop Trump’s radical Christian supremacist appointee to the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh. Over the weekend, appalling accusations were leveled against Kavanaugh. Christine Blasey Ford has stepped forward to accuse him of sexually and physically assaulting her. Even prior to these accusations, Judge Kavanaugh was a horrific choice for the Supreme Court: an ideological extremist who would undermine the separation of religion and government and attack civil rights. And in light of these allegations, lawmakers seem to be taking a greater interest in what’s at stake. The time to act is now.

Our civil and human rights hang in the balance with this vacancy. If added to the Supreme Court, Judge Kavanaugh will impose his religious ideology on the law and the American people for decades. But this isn’t just about Kavanaugh’s track record of supporting Christian supremacy under the law. This is about his refusal to answer basic questions about his views, his repeated attempts to mislead the Senate and the American people, and the credible allegations of sexual assault against him. Your email, and votes from your senators, will make all the difference.]

It is amazing that a letter, from such an awesome person of the caliber of Alison Gill, failed to register the truth or even nibble at the common sense line. This country is done (spell: dun), screwed up forever, stick a fork in it. The white American supremacists are in love with Trump for the exact same reason Stormi Daniels was unsatisfied. They know that Trump only lasts 2 minutes in bed. Imagine that; they get in bed with Trump and 2 minutes later, they get to go on to whatever they were doing before: laundry, burning a cross, reading the bible, dating their cousins or sisters, cooking grits, flirting with their moms, wearing pointy-toe Mexican boots, lynching a Negro, finding the biggest belt buckle, and supporting Trump. At the end of the day, Trump is safer than a Catholic priest.

So, to Alison Gill, I say: The American people is not prone to understand logic or common sense. Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
