Biblical stupidity part 11

There are 7427 blatant absurdities in the bible. Among them:

-Genesis 38:8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.
(My credo: Logic and reason dictate that all the drugs and hard liquor in the world couldn’t justify the belief in a fairy which created the entire universe for the sole purpose of peeping behind a cloud to watch me play with myself in the shower. And this perfect entity will judge my performance when I die, either by hiring me as a coach for the Holy Spirit or by burning my cojones in a lake of fire.
To believe there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is a personal choice; to actually pack your lunch and go on a trip to retrieve that gold is where the insanity begins. Many seemingly wonderful adults still leave milk and cookies for Santa.)

-Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
[There were Nephilim giants before the Flood. Nephilim (giants) were the offspring of the “sons of God” (fallen angels), and the daughters of men (human beings). One can imagine the reproductive act, mostly like motorboating, shadow boxing and playing air guitar.]

-Genesis 7:21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
(All creatures other than Noah and his clan were annihilated by the Flood)

-Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
(There were Nephilim after the Flood)

-Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
-Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
-Numbers 14:20 And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
-1 Samuel 15:35 And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
-2 Samuel 24:16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
(God does change his mind.)

-Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
-1 Samuel 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
-James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
(God does not change his mind.)
