Biblical stupidity part 56

There are 7427 blatant absurdities in the bible. Among them:
(A merciful, just and good God killed Job’s ten children in a bet with Satan.)

-Romans 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
(It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything that might cause your brother to stumble or be offended.)

-Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(Let no one pass judgement on you in matters of food and drink.)

-James 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
(An alleged quote from the scripture. No such statement is found in the Old Testament.)

-Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(All of the grass on earth is burned up, and then …)

-Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
(An army of locusts, which is about to be turned loose on the earth, is instructed not to harm the grass.)
