There are 7427 blatant absurdities in the bible. Among them:

Different people have different opinions of what is vulgar or obscene. However, the following verses would likely be considered vulgar or obscene, were they in any setting other than the Bible.
The spirit of God can help take your clothes off. Sunday service would be a lot more “interesting” if the fat bastards would follow what’s in the bible; “he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night.” Imagine John Hagee or Pat Robertson preaching naked! They probably would get sued for assault with a fat and ugly weapon. Instead, we are saddled with some idiot rolling around like a fool, on the floor, speaking in tongues.
1 Samuel 19:23 And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.24 And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
