There are 7427 blatant absurdities in the bible. Among them:

Different people have different opinions of what is vulgar or obscene. However, the following verses would likely be considered vulgar or obscene, were they in any setting other than the Bible.

Sometimes, famine during a war is used as an excuse to justify the vilest act. Here we have an argument between two women with a child each. Somehow they cooked and ate the first child, and now are arguing over eating the second one. More great bedtime material for the kids when they are not locked in church for bible school.
2 Kings 6:28 And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.29 So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.
