ESOL for politicians

The news is out: [Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) is being roasted over her truthful comments. But despite what you hear her Republican critics say, one thing she hasn’t publicly said is that the Holocaust is “calming.”

And yet, when she used the words “calming” and “Holocaust” in the same sentence in a podcast that aired this weekend, top Republicans in Congress falsely accused the Palestinian American of saying she thought the Holocaust itself gave her a “calming feeling.”]
It seems that the US is drifting more and more away from common sense, every single day. The circus is always in full swing and the clowns never fail to show. It is shocking that someone elected to represent the people is unable to understand the basic American English language. Yet, they get offended when asked to press 1 for English.
The level of ignorance and downright moronicity required to be a politician is staggering. English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), the state-funded language instruction educational program, should be made available to all who seek public office. This quote from Laurence J. Peter described the need, perfectly: “Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.”

No matter what the statement may be, there is always a category 5 scumbag who will slither from under some rocks to soil the world with his absurdity. Idiots are waiting in the cesspool to jump at the truth, and attempt to drag it down to their shelter.

Rashida Tlaib was on target with her remarks which were very mild. Slick traitors can trample facts, turn any criticism to the advantage of their employer; and the fad right now is for them to “defend” Israhell in order to receive bribes from AIPAC.

We the people should wake the F… up. Knowledge of the Constitution and the American English language should become minimum requirements to run for office.
