Biblical stupidity 1275

There are 7427 blatant absurdities in the bible. Among them:

The main feature of western religion has been a steady diet of misogyny for over 2000 years. Loaded with non-stop assault on women, Christianity has degradation of women at its core.
Hosea tells his kids to talk to their mother, “For she is not my wife.” Then God continues to rant about “whoredoms” and “adulteries from between her breasts.” He threatens to “strip her naked and set her as in the day she was born.”

Hosea 2:2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

  1. You are so brave to go after and use Christianity as the villian for the rant against misogyny. To me, it seems like you are trying to gain points with your click of trendy, progressive, Western-hating, self-loathers! If this were not the case, why not be truly bold if you want to target both misogyny and violence against women (real violence, not rhetorical!) and tell of what happen’s to women in Islam? While you are at it, you might want to raise a eyebrow about what happens to other men, dogs, cats, animals slaughtered under Halal practices, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Sikhs and Hindus, under Islam! Show some bravery! Show some originality! Leave Chistians and Christianity alone!

    1. Hi Lee, welcome and thanks for your reply. Please let me remind you that my mission in life is to find and destroy absurdities, fight ignorance and educate. If you were familiar with my other posts, you would have known that I don’t shelter Islam which is less violent than Christianity. Why should Christianity and Christians be left alone? Are they above reproach? You apparently missed the posts about the baby killing exploits of your God. Hang in tight, there is a lot more to come.
