The news is out: [A Bono man was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Jonesboro police say that Earl Leslie Chapman, 66, was arrested after an investigation by the Northeast Arkansas Human Trafficking Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations Child Exploitation Investigations Unit.
Police got a tip that Chapman was possibly sexually assaulting a child under the age of five in Bono. Officers searched his home and confiscated computers, an iPad, and other electronic devices. Child pornography was found on at least one device, police say.
Chapman was charged with distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. He is being held in the Craighead County jail awaiting a probable cause hearing.]
