This is the continued saga which resulted from an email I sent to the 2 major political groups, to complain and request clarification about the violation of Rebekah Jones’ constitutional rights by Floriduh’s governor Ron DeSantis.
The latest email came from Tom Perez, chair of the Democratic National Committee.
As I read Mr Perez’s email, I came to the conclusion that it’s one thing to be stupid, and it’s a whole different ball game to be a certified idiot. All of a sudden, all my favorites quotes came to mind.
“A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims… but accomplices” (George Orwell)
A wise man can play the part of a clown, but a clown can’t play the part of a wise man. (Malcolm X)
I never had that feeling that I had to carry the weight of somebody’s ignorance around with me. (Maya Angelou)
Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. (Martin Luther King, Jr.)
This is what the chair of the DNC had to say about Ron DeSantis and the FDLE agents violating the Constitutional rights of a citizen. Please enjoy:
[I’m so grateful to have you as a part of this team. Together, we moved mountains to deliver a historic victory for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats nationwide — and we owe it all to folks like you.
This historic win — with record turnout, and the most votes cast for a presidential ticket in the history of this nation — did not happen overnight. It took hard work from committed people like you: Folks who bought into this work early on to revolutionize the DNC’s infrastructure, setting us up for a historically smooth integration with the Biden campaign when there was no time to waste.
Our work is just getting started, and achieving the progress our country needs will require electing Democratic leaders at every level, in all 50 states. That’s why I’m so glad to have you in this fight,
I pledge to keep supporting Democrats, and I hope you’ll pledge your support to help flip the Senate and elect Democrats in elections to come. Will you add your name to show you’re with us?
PLEDGE MY SUPPORT
This election proved the vital importance of each and every piece of this campaign. Members of this grassroots team donated when they could, helped their loved ones register to vote, and volunteered to talk to voters in communities across this country. Every aspect was critical to our shared victory — and those efforts will be just as important in the months and years to come.
Now, we still have our work cut out for us. I’m counting on you to help elect Democrats at every level who will move our country in the right direction. Please, Pledge your support today.
All my gratitude,
Democratic National Committee]
Thanks to the great teachings of my dad, I wasn’t expecting much when I sent the email. But, at the very least, I thought the chair of the DNC could provide an answer to a simple question in American English. I still want an answer to my original email. Not one word about the subject I care about; not one word about Rebekah Jones’ constitutional rights; not one word that came close to condemning the illegal act of governor DeSantis; not one word about the oath they took. Just the same BS, the same hot air, the same blooming feeble-minded stupidity that always comes from these thugs.
They ignored my request while making one of their own “please pledge your support today.” They won’t get shit from me; that’s why I flush it down the toilet.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is why I don’t vote. I refuse to be one of the morons who go to the polls to choose between the lesser of two crooks and thieves.
