The news is out: [San Diego police are investigating a video that features images of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and a bigoted slur aimed at Mayor Todd Gloria that’s been making its around the department.
The video, which includes commentary that “negatively portrays the community and department leadership,” came to light last weekend and features altered images from “Downfall,” a 2004 German-language war drama, police spokesman Lt. Shawn Takeuchi told Times of San Diego Friday.
“This video is extremely disturbing and offensive,” said Takeuchi, noting that “hateful speech of any kind” will not be tolerated by San Diego police.]
They are always investigating and need to see more before any action is taken.
