I fail to understand all the fuss about Cruz’s vacation to Mexico, while his constituents froze their butts in Texas. Edward Rafael Cruz is paid over $1,200 per day by the good people of Texas; he has been elected and re-elected, and there is no sign that voters will stop selecting him as their leader. So he has nothing to fear. Most of the complaints are from folks outside of Texas, who have no business regulating what a great senator can do.
Last year, after skipping the celebration of July 4th, Ted Cruz was in Jamaica, closer to the ganja. No one said squat.
So my advice to Ted Cruz is: “give it to them and make it hurt; these idiots like pain.”
